Instantly recognisable in both plumage and voice, the blue-winged kookaburra is the more handsome cousin of the laughing kookaburra. This beaming kingfisher has a distinctive pale eye set alongside an elegantly long pale blue bill. Its shoulder and wing feature a dashing array of bright blue feathers, creating a striking spotlight against a subtle backdrop of scalloped rufous feathers.

The colours and saturation are beautifully vibrant. Printed using pigment inks on quality 310 gsm archival cotton rag paper.
