That's Not Grandma Brooch | Fairytales Collab with Erstwilder X Pete Cromer

Part of the fairy tale collaboration with beloved Australian artist Pete Cromer, this Big Bad Wolf (in Grandma's clothing!) wearable art brooch has been lovingly hand-assembled and features a combination of hand-painted and printed detailing. Inspired by one of the world's best-loved stories (Little Red Riding Hood).

DESIGN STORY

Once upon a time a cosplay-loving wolf with big eyes and even bigger teeth tried to pull a fast one on a kind-hearted little girl and her gullible grandma.

Each piece is made from laser-cut and layered resin, hand assembled, hand painted and released in limited quantities. As all of our designs are lovingly glued, assembled and painted by hand, there can be very slight variations and blemishes from piece to piece. Due to the hand-mixed nature of the resins in our designs, it is also common and normal to find tiny flecks or bubbles in the resin layers. All in all, this just makes each piece as special and unique as you are.

Brooch clasps are made with a 100% stainless steel pin and plated brass screws. Please note, components change over time and may be made with other materials.

RESIN CARE

Please be aware that resin is akin to ceramic and glass and therefore may be damaged if dropped or knocked. Keep your Erstwilder companion neatly tucked away in this box when not being worn, avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, water, and excessive sunlight and you’ll have a trusted friend for years to come. Please note that for any design with etched linework, particularly on mirror resins, and especially where lines curve, may have a slightly jagged or uneven appearance. This feature is due to the nature of the materials and an expected part of the process of production. Also note, mirrored acrylic cannot be polished or tumbled during the production process so it will not feature the smooth edge that you would expect on other resin pieces.
