ABOUT THE POPLARS - TENISON WOODS COLLEGE

The Poplars at Tenison Woods College is a Reception to Year 12 inclusive education setting on the TWC site. Students are involved in a life skill and experience based curriculum where they are involved in many different sustainability projects including Plastic recycling and repurposing, Green Waste collection and gardening. 

THE PROCESS

Each soap dish contains around 50 bottle caps collected by the Poplars at TWC. The bottle caps are then washed and sorted into colours on site at the College. They are then shredded, added to a plastic injection machine and then into a mould to create the finished product.

Please note: Each soap dish is unique in colouring and no two are the same. We have attempted to photograph each soap dish to it's correct colouring, but this can often look slightly different through a screen so please be mindful of this when purchasing online.
