Settling Snow by Elle Pervez - While the weather that inspired this artwork involved crazy 100km wind gusts sloshing cold snow into our windows in swirls of beautiful energy, I hope this much calmer rendition still conveys the absolute joy my family and I had while we watched the morning snow out the windows of our new home.
This collection draws from inspiration from my property, outback Australia, and a recent road trip home from Alice Springs, where the land shifts with every hour and the sky does most of the storytelling. These aren’t just landscapes I looked at, they’re places I felt.
