Some icons earn their place through subtlety. Freddy is not one of them! This limited run Freddy the Frillneck Lizard brooch captures the drama and dynamism of the outback’s most theatrical reptile. Hand crafted from bold layered resins and finished with printed and etched detailing, Freddy is perfect for bringing a little flare to any outfit.

DESIGN STORY

Freddy the Frillneck loves a dramatic entrance—puffing up its frill and dashing about like a tiny dinosaur. Quite the flair for the theatrics!

Each piece is made from laser-cut and layered resin, hand assembled, hand painted and released in limited quantities. As Erstwilder designs are lovingly glued, assembled and painted by hand, there can be very slight variations and blemishes from piece to piece. Due to the hand-mixed nature of the resins in their designs, it is also common and normal to find tiny flecks or bubbles in the resin layers. All in all, this just makes each piece as special and unique as you are.

Brooch clasps are made with a 100% stainless steel pin and plated brass screws. Please note, components change over time and may be made with other materials. If you have any specific design questions, please email the team at hello@erstwilder.com.

RESIN CARE

Please be aware that resin is akin to ceramic and glass and therefore may be damaged if dropped or knocked. Keep your Erstwilder companion neatly tucked away in this box when not being worn, avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, water, and excessive sunlight and you’ll have a trusted friend for years to come. Please note that for any design with etched linework, particularly on mirror resins, and especially where lines curve, may have a slightly jagged or uneven appearance. This feature is due to the nature of the materials and an expected part of the process of production. Also note, mirrored acrylic cannot be polished or tumbled during the production process so it will not feature the smooth edge that you would expect on other resin pieces.
