'Aw, Flip Son! (Beachport)' - Limited Edition Fine Art Print

Folk wander the Beachport Jetty under a psychedelic sky, armed with fishing rods, as kids flip off the side in to Rivoli Bay. This photograph captures the movement and vibrancy of the Beachport Jetty over that period of time between Christmas and New Years, when no one quite knows what day it is. Time is obscure, much like the blurred fluidity of this photograph.

About the Artist:-

Louise is an award winning photographer living on Bunganditj country, in Millicent in rural South Australia and has lived locally in the Limestone Coast for the most part of her life.

Louise's passion lays in capturing an authentic representation of the human experience.  She began her vocational career as a children's Mental Health Therapist, which underpins her interest in the brain, human development and relationships.  Becoming a mother to three children ignited these interests further, as she explores themes of mother lore and the idiosyncrasies that make us unique.  Louise is fascinated in the continual, ever changing temperament of the environment, and is in awe of the emotions the Australian landscape displays, just like the humans who copy it.

A large portion of Louise's photographic work is made using 35mm and medium format film, particularly for its textural grain and nostalgic feeling one has when viewing it.
