'Rainbow Lorikeet and Grevilleas' PrintEarthdrawn Studio
'Rainbow Lorikeet and Grevilleas' print by Carlie Edwards of Earthdrawn Studio.
The Rainbow Lorikeet is one of Australia’s most striking birds, with a colourful personality to match. They are a delight to watch as they hang from branches like acrobats, chattering away and feeding on one of their favourite flowers - Grevilleas! Clever, humorous and cheeky, these birds have great communication skills, respect for others, and a strong recognition of their soul mate. Spiritually, these birds have a connection to the rainbow, which in turn portrays a possession of many colourful traits. This gives the Rainbow Lorikeet a well balanced outlook on life, and the ability to observe a wide variety of viewpoints.
This artwork has been lovingly hand drawn using a delicate blend of coloured pencil & watercolours. Carlie grew up in Byron Bay, which influenced a love of animals and all things colourful! Taking up to 50 hours to complete, each artwork in the collection draws inspiration from nature, and fine art reproductions are created by sourcing the highest quality papers and finishes to showcase the artwork.
A3 and A4 prints are made using a beautiful 270gsm textured fine art paper, which is FSC Forestry certified & carbon neutral.
